Fernando Valle

Fernando Valle is a native of South Texas.  He received his bachelors of Science degree in education from The University of Texas—San Antonio and both masters degrees in Guidance and Counseling and School Administration from the University of Texas at Pan American.  In 2008, Valle received a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of Texas—Pan American and after twelve years of service in South Texas public schools transitioned to higher education.  Valle currently serves as an assistant professor in the Educational Leadership Program at Texas Tech University where he teaches graduate and doctoral level courses.  His research agenda is being shaped by the facets of school change that advance leadership development; through the lenses of school reform, Latina/o leaders, and issues of social justice.
