Eduardo Cisneros

Eduardo Cisneros currently serves as Field Director for Board Member Yolie Flores at the LAUSD, the nation’s second-largest school district.  At the LAUSD, he has worked on transformative education reform policies seeking to improve the educational outcomes for the students and families of his hometown community of Los Angeles and Southeast LA.  In 2008, he served as Regional Data Manager for the Obama for America East LA campaign office where he helped organize and civically engage hundreds Latino and first-time voters.  He holds a BA in Political Science from CSU Long Beach, and this fall will begin his MPP at the University of Chicago’s Harris School of Public Policy Studies.  In the future, Eduardo hopes to serve in a leadership capacity that allows him to implement reform policies addressing inherent social issues impacting his community, including low civic engagement and poor-performing schools.
